Dr. Stearns practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale. She is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Stearns completed both her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at St. John Providence Medical Center in Michigan. She began practicing in Scottsdale in 2013 and joined Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale in June of 2018. She has special interests in Pregnancy and Heart Disease, Women’s Heart Disease and Heart Disease Prevention.
Dr. Cerda practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale. He is board-certified in cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Cerda completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. He then went on to serve as chief medical resident at the University of Florida-Jacksonville. He completed his cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Florida. He began practicing in Phoenix in 2022 and joined Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale in May of 2024. He has a special interest in clinical electrophysiology, cardiac devices, and heart failure.
Dr. Rashduni practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale. He started his Scottsdale private practice in 2006. He has served as medical director of non-invasive cardiology at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center and Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak, and has been active in the HonorHealth Speaker’s Bureau.
Dr. Haddad practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale. He is board-certified in multiple specialties, with a focus on interventional cardiology and vascular medicine. Dr. Haddad completed both his cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology fellowship at St. John Providence Medical Center in Michigan. He began practicing in Scottsdale in 2010 and pioneered cardiac angioplasty and stenting using the radial artery approach.
Dr. Waggoner practices at Cardiovascular Institute of Scottsdale with an expertise in interventional cardiology, peripheral vascular disease and intervention, amputation prevention, structural heart disease and consultative cardiology. Dr. Waggoner performs many complex interventional procedures including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair (EVAR). Dr. Waggoner earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internal medicine residency at Harbor –UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Both his Cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships were completed at the University of Texas Health Services Center at San Antonio, Texas. He has been voted a Top Doc by Phoenix Magazine.
Dr. Ashish Sadhu has been practicing clinical cardiac electrophysiology in Arizona since 2008 and is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He earned his medical degree from Dr. P.D.M. Medical College in Amravati, India. He completed his Internal medicine internship and residency from the University of Arizona in Tucson. After completing his Cardiology fellowship from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas he moved to Massachusetts for further sub-specialty training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at University of Massachusetts in Worchester.
Emily originates from Illinois where she received her Associate’s degree in nursing in 2009 at Kankakee Community College. She then moved to Arizona 2012 and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Grand Canyon University and continued on to get her Master of Science in Nursing degree and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. While obtaining her graduate degree, she spent the majority of her nursing career caring for cardiac patients on telemetry, but also spent time in the interventional radiology lab becoming familiar with critical care patients and angiographic procedures. She also has hands on experience with pre and post care in complex cardiology patients. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Kim started her nursing career in 2007 as an LPN working in Pensacola Florida. She then attended Pima Medical Institute in Mesa, Arizona where she received her associate’s degree in nursing in 2010. In 2011 she returned to school at Arizona State University where she received her Bachelors in Nursing. She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Arizona graduating in 2015. She has been practicing Cardiology and specializing in Electrophysiology as a DNP since 2015. Kim is board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society.
Ron Ordas received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He completed an additional year of training at Mayo Clinic Arizona, participating in their Cardiology Nurse Practitioner Fellowship, the only program of its kind in the country. He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Kimberly started her medical journey in Cardiodiagnostics at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in 1992. She then worked as a Medical Assistant in the Family Practice setting in Arizona and Florida over the next several years. She obtained her Associates Degree from Daytona State College in 2010, and then went on to graduate with her Bachelor Degree from University of Central Florida in 2013. Her nursing career provided her the opportunity to work in pediatric CVICU, Surgical and Neurological Telemetry, Emergency Medicine, Peri anesthesia, as well as several roles in nursing leadership. She graduated with her first Master’s degree in Executive Nursing Leadership in 2019, and then in 2022 graduated with her second Master’s degree in Nursing becoming a certified Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and is a Cardiovascular Team Member of the American College of Cardiology.
Megan Rayyan was born and raised in Scottsdale Arizona where she started her Nursing career in 2016. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Science and Nursing and continued on to get her Masters in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2022. While obtaining her graduate degree, she spent 6 years in a Cardiac Intensive Care unit caring for critical cardiac patients as well as taught nursing courses at Gateway Community College. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Misty Curry is a certified physician assistant by the NCCPA (National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants) and a native of Arizona. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from ASU then received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. She has practiced in cardiology since 2012.
